School bus driver accused of hitting 3-year-old

Investigators say 47-year-old Christopher O'Brien can be seen on the bus surveillance tape slapping the girl on her right thigh after she refused to sit in her seat.

The tape has audio and O'Brien can reportedly be heard telling the girl, "You're gonna get a spanking right now. Do you understand me?"

The child's sibling saw what happened and told their mother.

Detectives say O'Brien initially denied hitting the child.

The child was on the bus because she attends an age appropriate program at the elementary school.
