Bombardier to invest $250 million in Mexican

Bombardier has not manufactured parts and components for its aircraft to date, preferring to assemble them at Queretaro, which employs 3,000 people.

The new facilities will be operational in about seven years.

Besides Bombardier, the Queretaro site hosts two subsidiaries of France's Safran, which maintain Airbus and Boeing engines and landing gear. tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.com afp/ejp/ms1/hjp
