'Garden of Hope' dedication scheduled today at Hope Wall School

AURORA -- Amazing how one face lift sure has the capability of, well, lifting a whole lot of faces.

Just wander around the Hope Wall School campus and you'll clearly see.

While outside, students' faces feature cantaloupe-slice smiles, as they parade around their new play land.

This year's "Hope in Motion" project -- or what Special Olympics Coordinator Sandy Lowder dubbed "Radical Renovation: Hope Wall Edition" -- was a multi-pronged upgrade.

The special-education facility, which serves students from both the East and West Aurora school districts, now has a "Garden of Hope," featuring a pondless waterfall; four-lane, straightaway track; and accessible playscape, not to mention new landscaping and concrete walking paths around the campus.
