Holiday House presents new ideas and food for Christmas

For an evening of new decorating ideas and foods for the holiday season approaching, the Coffee County Extension System is presenting Holiday House, a refreshing look by local artists, craftsman and cooks.

Admission is free for the evening with appetizing holiday food demonstrations and reminiscing about holidays past, but discovering simple ideas to make the Christmas season entertaining and more delightful.

Holiday House is planned for Monday, Nov. 26, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Coffee County Farm Center Community Room.

"We'll have some holiday food that people can try and light refreshments will be served," Extension System coordinator for the event Peggy Stroud said. "We also have some great presenters such as Eddie Byrd, Ann Campbell, Bridgett Griffin, Harriette Boyd, Rachel Dykes and a few more that will show everyone new ideas for the holidays."

Byrd, an interior decorator, has appeared on HGTV's popular show, Designers Challenge and won the challenge of decorating.
